Welcome to Alys Beach

This one-of-a-kind community is well known for its unique Mediterranean architectural style

Established in 2004, this 158-acre, one-of-a-kind community has a Mediterranean flair, with architectural styles founded in the beauty of Bermuda, Antigua, and Guatemala. Uniformly stunning, homes here have stark white facades, most with interior courtyards and pools. An iconic palm-lined entry to the community’s secluded green spaces makes Alys Beach both sheltered and private.

Entirely walkable, with easy access to the town center's varied shops and restaurants, the town is well known for its active lifestyle—residents can soak up the beautiful views along the Timpoochee Trail or enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood nature preserve. At Caliza Pool, a stunning oasis complete with cabanas and food and drink service, homeowners and their guests can sample many of South Walton’s signature flavors.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Posh dining options abound in Alys Beach. Local favorites include George’s, an upscale yet casual restaurant offering regional coastal flair infused with global flavors; NEAT, featuring a Bottle Shop and Tasting Room that serves a thoughtfully curated collection of artisan spirits, wines, and craft beers with a focus on introducing small batch producers and locally made items to the 30A community; The Citizen, a seaside tavern inspired by global, coastal cuisine, serving charred avocado salad,  sweet corn bisque and fisherman’s grits; and Caliza, open only to Alys Beach homeowners and vacation rental guests, this posh eatery serves lite bites and casual American cuisine poolside.

Things to Do

The northern portion of Alys Beach is devoted to a 20-acre nature preserve that offers an 1800-foot-long elevated trail that gives excellent views of the habitats below. There are nine town parks in Alys Beach, each an integral part of the town design. An amphitheater hosts a wide range of musical and theatrical performances throughout the year.

Digital Graffiti, a one-of-a-kind digital projection art experience that welcomes select artists worldwide, uses the neighborhood’s white walls as canvases for unique artistic creations.
